Hello guys,
I am in the process of setting up my first Enfold site. Such an excellent theme!
I have added a Google Map from the Media Elements on one of the pages. It works fine, but it is not as fully featured as the Enfold Google Maps. Widget that I tried just in a footer. No Hybrid/ Satellite option and the Streetview icon isn’t on the map.
I had previously had a page list in there and came to the conclusion that it wasn’t needed. The Map Widget displayed all the detail as expected but it also displayed the an error twice above the map.
Warning: mysql_real_escape_string(): No such file or directory in /homepages/………….themes/enfold/framework/php/class-framework-widgets.php on line 1322
The hosting site appears to have some MySQL issues today so it may be related to that. I have replaced the Map Widget with the Calendar Widget, so there is no urgency to fix the error from my point of view. I will keep an eye on the MySQL situation and when it is resolved, come back if the above problem doesn’t also get fixed.
What I would like, is that the Media Elements version be added to the enhancement list to get all the features added in due course.
Regards
Mick

I wanted to check the website on your profile but it says “THIS WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE”. Have you figured it out already?
Cheers!
YigitFebruary 17, 2015 at 2:57 am #397203Hi Yigit
The site is due to go live later today. That’s just a plugin to hide it until then. I have Enfold on another site that is due to go live tomorrow. I just tried the widget and got the same error. It’s on the same host, so that’s not a definitive test. I can live without the widget for either of these sites for the moment. I was really only highlighting the issue to see if it was a known problem. I am happy to revisit this in a week, hopefully the host will have responded by then, and I will set up Enfold in a test domain and will give you access if necessary. How does that sound?
Cheers
Mick

Alright. Congratulations on the new site! :)
This thread might help fix the error: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-google-maps-in-enfold-theme/
