Hi,
Has the Google Maps issue been resolved yet?
I have the proper API key and the website is verified.
Enfold Google Maps functionality doesn’t work. Address cannot be automatically found and when coordinates are input manually, the map doesn’t show.
Please advise.
Thanks!
January 16, 2017 at 2:29 pm #734042Hey
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 16, 2017 at 2:40 pm #734049Hi Yigit,
Details in the private box.
Edit: can you please also take a look at Google Analytics functionality? It doesn’t seem to work either.
Many thanks,

January 16, 2017 at 2:41 pm #734051Hey!
I am getting following error. Can you please temporarily disable IP restriction?
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 16, 2017 at 3:20 pm #734092Hi Yigit,
How do I do that?
Thanks,
WitekJanuary 16, 2017 at 3:50 pm #734111Hey!
It seems like you are using JetPack for IP restriction. Please go to JetPack settings and disable it
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 16, 2017 at 4:30 pm #734165Done, thanks.
January 16, 2017 at 4:34 pm #734170Hi!

Thanks
January 18, 2017 at 10:39 am #735221Hi,
This error appears on your contact page:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
It seems that there’s a conflict with one of the plugins. Can you try to disable all plugins and clear out all the cache, let us know if the issue still persists.
Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 18, 2017 at 11:25 am #735246Hi Nikko,
The only plugins I have installed are:
1) Akismet
2) Easy Coming Soon
3) Jetpack by WordPress.com
4) W3 Total Cache
5) WP Smush
6) Yoast SEOI don’t see how any of them should conflict. Nevertheless, I deactivated them all and cleared cache, to no effect. The automatic fetching of coordinates still doesn’t work and when coordinates are input manually, map doesn’t display.
Please advise.
Thanks,
WitekJanuary 19, 2017 at 11:45 am #735804Hi,
Any progress with this?
Thanks,
WitekJanuary 20, 2017 at 12:08 pm #736365Hi,
Any feedback please?
Thanks,
WitekJanuary 20, 2017 at 2:32 pm #736493Hi,
For testing purpose I have deactivated W3 Total Cache and Jetpack please activate once the issue is resolved.
There seem to be a conflict with cloudflare please disable cloudflare
After disabling cloudflare if you still have any problem remove the APi key from Enfold > Google Service and install the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/api-key-for-google-maps/ and use the API key in the private message in the plugin settings.
Best regards,
VinayJanuary 24, 2017 at 5:50 pm #737861Hi Vinay,
I don’t really like the option of disabling CDN, caching and security of my website. I don’t think the functioning of your theme should be dependent on that.
I tried installing the Api Key For Google Maps plugin you suggest, but that didn’t work either and it breaks a different part of your theme (‘Our Services’ in the Construction demo).
Is there another fix to the Google Maps and Google Analytics issue?
Thanks,
WitekJanuary 24, 2017 at 6:00 pm #737869Hi!
One user said
i found out, that using cloudflares rocket launcher will cause an error with google maps.
Can you please check if that is the case on your installation as well?

YigitJanuary 24, 2017 at 6:29 pm #737880Hi Yigit,
Thanks. This works on Chome where I’m logged into WordPress. So we won’t be able to use Rocket Loader?
When I check on Firefox and Explorer, I see this error instead of maps on the two relevant pages: “Sorry! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”
Do you know why would that be?
Many thanks,
WitekJanuary 30, 2017 at 10:36 am #740108Hi,
The maps are working on Firefox, Windows 7, and I don’t see any errors in the console. Please remove browser cache or hard refresh the page.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 30, 2017 at 10:37 am #740109Hi,

February 1, 2017 at 6:22 am #741001March 6, 2017 at 9:19 am #756257Hi,
same here!
Obtained a completly new ApiKey, entered it in enfold google service, did hard refresh and empty cache.Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys TA.j @ util.js:210 (anonymous) @ js?v=3.24:126 (anonymous) @ js?v=3.24:46 (anonymous) @ js?v=3.24:43 (anonymous) @ js?v=3.24:46 _.F @ js?v=3.24:45 (anonymous) @ js?v=3.24:46 _.v @ js?v=3.24:31 mc @ js?v=3.24:46 (anonymous) @ js?v=3.24:126 util.js:210 Google Maps API warning: RetiredVersion https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#retired-version
I found, that in class-framework-widgets.php arround line 1376 the call to the js looks like this:
$api_url = $prefix.'://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?v=3.24';
On google developers they state the following regarding the error RetiredVersion:You may have supplied a retired version in your script element. The versions 3.0 – 3.25 have been retired, and you might be receiving 3.26 instead. Please update your application to use one of the available versions.
So I tried to add v=3.26 to api_url
and repeated hard reload.
Then the first errors disappeared but a new one appeared:
Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError
although I entered the correct domain in the Api console Accept requests from these HTTP referrers (websites)After I emptied and filled WP Rocket cache it seems to work now, although it seems this error is very random.
March 10, 2017 at 1:10 pm #758868Hey!
@gsTom: What did you use in the referrer field? Based on the site domain, you should add this.*.guterstoff.com
Please review the following documentation.
// http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
