Hi,
I’m trying to insert a Google Map Widget in my website.
When I enter the address to search for the co-ordinates, it says ‘fetching co-ordinates’ for a long time, but nothing comes up.
When i insert the co-ordinates manually, and save it, the map doesn’t show up after I save it. It only shows a grey image with an error message.
Can you tell me what might be the problem?
Hey Sophung,
On the last version we had been getting a retired version on the api, but this has be fix with v4.2 have you updated to v4.2?
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Mike,
Yes, I’ve updated it to v4.2, but there is no change. It still doesn’t show, even when I key in the co-ordinates.

Sophia
Hi Sophia,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria,
Sure. I’ve put in the details below.
Hi,
Thanks for the login details, where exactly are you trying this out? Please link to the page directly so that we can inspect the error.

Hi Rikard,
I was trying to create a Enfold Child Theme Google Maps widget under Appearances>Widgets.
I want to create the widget to be in the sidebar of every page. I have left it as is in the website, so you can see the error message.
I tried entering an address for the co-ordinates to be fetched, and I also tried entering the co-ordinates directly. they both don’t work
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, I see you haven’t added a Google Maps API key in the URL in private. Could you try to generate one and add it to the theme options please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Ok done, it’s sorted! Thank you so much! :)
