I placed a previous ticket for this last week. I thought the issue was resolved, however, for some reason when I create a new API key and copy it to Enfold, it works right away but after some time…I get the Oops something went wrong error again.
September 26, 2016 at 9:00 pm #691943Hey Lisa,
For testing purpose I added my API key and it works fine. The problem is with the API key. please follow the steps suggested by google correctly and it should work fine for you.
It is easy to get the Google API key please refer to this link
If you already created an API key please delete all old API key’s from google account to avoid a conflict.
While setting up the API key make sure to add
*
before and after the domain name without http, www or https in the URL.Example *.kriesi.at/*
Add your API key in the theme options Enfold > Google Services
Best regards,

September 28, 2016 at 7:24 am #692505Hi,
Please follow the instructions provided by google correctly and it should work for you. I have again added my API key for testing purpose and it works correctly.
Refer to this link for step by step instruction http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
If you still have any issue go ahead and share your google account credentials so we can create an API key for you.

September 28, 2016 at 4:10 pm #692777Hi!
Login credentials are not working for me. Can you please check them once again? :)
Cheers!
YigitSeptember 28, 2016 at 7:32 pm #692861When I try to login to the Google API Console (from the link in your documentation) with that login and password, it works. I even copy and pasted the password to make sure.
September 28, 2016 at 10:56 pm #692904Hi,
I am getting this error when i copy paste the logins
“ERROR: Invalid email address. Lost your password?”Best regards,
YigitOctober 4, 2016 at 5:34 pm #695167I’m not sure why that would be. I even tried logging in on another computer and it worked. The map did start functioning. I created another key, it worked for a few minutes and then gave me the error again. I left it overnight and for some reason it works now. I’m not sure why that would be but I’m happy that it finally works.:)
