Hi, Enfold Google Maps does not display correctly. The widget is shown on the sidebar along with the marker and a few other symbols however there isn’t an actual map just a blue background. How can I fix this?

January 4, 2016 at 3:55 am #558966Hi taoleo!
Make sure your using the latest version of Enfold, 3.4.7, and make sure all plugins are deactivated while testing.
If your still having issues with it then send us a link to the page and we’ll take a look.
Best regards,

Using Enfold 3.4.3
Not sure what you mean by this ‘….and make sure all plugins are deactivated while testing.’
Do you mean deactivate plugins while updating?
Being new to this…..when I go the the Enfold theme that is installed I cannot see an option to update, how do I update?- This reply was modified 8 years, 11 months ago by taoleo. Reason: Edited in order to add content
January 4, 2016 at 4:27 am #558982Hi!
Navigate to Dashboard > Enfold > Theme Update and input all of your themeforest information and hit the “Check Manually” button. If that does not work then try updating via FTP, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/.
Make sure to deactivate all plugins while testing. You don’t need to deactivate them while updating the theme.
Best regards,

I’ll try that and get back to….January 4, 2016 at 6:27 am #559028HI Elliott,
Updated and deactivated while testing with no change to the Google Maps.
I failed to mention that this site is still being created and we are using a ‘coming soon ‘ plug in. I hope this doesn’t have have anything to do with it. I didn’t consider it at first as that plug in hasn’t interfered with anything else.- This reply was modified 8 years, 11 months ago by Yigit. Reason: moved content to private content field

January 5, 2016 at 1:35 am #559632Hi!
I tried entering a different address (New York City) and it worked fine. I added previous options in private content field.
If you do not mind, please post the address you would like to use in private content field as well so we can check with a real addressRegards,
YigitJanuary 5, 2016 at 4:30 am #559727Hi Yigit,
Yes New York City displays correctly so I deleted that lat and long and reentered the lat and long that I wanted and it now displays correctly.
Who knows?…thanks for your patience and assistance all is now good.January 5, 2016 at 11:01 am #559828 -
