    Hey hdpcr,

Google services like the map feature is now constrained to work with an API key. It is easy to get the Google API key please refer to this link

Add your API key in the theme options Enfold > Google Services

While setting up the API key make sure to add /* at the end of your site name in the API options.

    Example http://kriesi.at/*

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Yigi

Please see link below, it works fine without any api key is that normal?

    Thank you

    #679411

    Hi,

API key is needed on new domains as far as i know. Some users never had to insert API keys while others had to insert on all of their sites :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

I’ve looked into a few threads about this issue. I did everything as suggested and it is NOT working yet.

Here is my page link: http://nexusintercambio.com/en/contact/canada-3/

Also, the LayerSlider and Image gallery are NOT working as well. It looks like nothing related to images is working.

My WP is updated (4.6). Theme version is (3.7.1)

    Need your help please!!

    #679784

    HI Yigit

What about this last post. I didnt do the api key yet as im with the banner thing :) Is is true what he participant is saying or he just couldnt apply the steps described before.

    Thank you

    #679827

    Hi,

    @hdpcr
did you try inserting the API as suggested by Yigit ?

@rsmincanada there are a few js errors in console. Your issue seem to be because of a plugin conflict.
To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

    Thanks for your cooperation :)

If you still have the issue please create a new ticket so we can further trouble shoot this.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,

Thanks for your reply. It was indeed one of my Plug-ins. All is working fine now after deactivating it. Thanks a lot!

    HI

I did everything step by step as indicated in both links and it’s still not working

    Thank you

    #680745

    Hi,

We have updated the documentation and added following

IMPORTANT: If you want to enter your domain make sure that you use the format that google already suggests: *.yourdomain.com/*
Do not use http or www but the general * symbol, otherwise you might run into trouble.

Could you please make sure that this is not the case?

Edit: @hdpcr i checked your site and it says you have added Google Maps API key more then once. Please only try inserting it in Enfold theme options and do not edit any files regarding Gmaps issue.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Vinay

    Hi

What do you mean by a new ticket? why not keep this one to keep track?

    Thank you

    #680992

    Hi,

I was just trying to avoid any confusion with multiple issues as we go back and forth. Not a problem we can keep this ticket open if you haven’t yet created a new one and help you resolve the issue. Please provide the login details so we can take a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi

Nothing has been solved and there is no code involved so far to replace or so. :)
    There you go with credentials.

    Thank tou

    Hi,

The maps are showing up fine on the URL provided. However you are using an old version of the theme. If you do not see the update options Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.

If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Thank you

    Hi,

I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?

The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.

If you follow the steps correctly as mentioned here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/ the maps will work for you like it is for many other users.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

I am trying to get support regarding google maps media option on the theme.
I have added the API Key and now it´s solved, however the problem now is just with google maps option on the theme. The google maps doesn´t display the coordinates, the button doesn´t work. I have the last theme version. What can I do, I have opened different threads here but most of them are deleted and others with the Api key instructions answer, but this is not the problem, it is just about the coordinates, the API key is correct and it is not having any problem.
    Any suggestions? Thanks

In case you are not able to bring google maps to work after inserting the api (just follow the tutorial)
i found out that i have to enter 4 different versions of referrer. this works for me on google chrome, but not on firefox. moreover what is interesting – i dont get any errors in the console.

    http://www.domain.yxz/*
    http://domain.yxz
    http.//www.domain.yxz
    domain.yxz/

its important to be exact. maybe it helps.

just following the tutorial here doesnt bring any results for me. i was wondering if a cdn could probably break anything?
for eg the rocket loader from cloudflare could produce errors. i dont know. it is frustrating.

i think the only option to use the theme and maps is using a widget or just making a screenshot. really frustrating.
