Hi Guys,
The Google Map Fetch Coordinates Button is not working, I did try the Google Maps work around post here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/solution-to-google-maps-key-issues/
but since the Fetch Coordinates Button is not working I can’t even use that???I am using the Enfold – Construction demo import with a child theme. So far everything else is working fine.
Do you have any ideas on whats causing this issue??? If you can solve the Google Map Fetch Coordinates Button issue I can add the code to the functions.php file.

regards dirkMap not working, there is a workaround, but you need to have an own key. I wait for a global easy solution.
The Google map API key is not the main issue here, I have one and I did implement it, the issue is the Fetch Coordinates Button is not working.

Ismael3 different threads, really! Can’t you supply a step by step fix with code snippets that clearer than using 3 different threads? Unprofessional and disappointing!

It is due to changes in Google Map API. Thank you for a solution in the next update. keep up the good work.

I agree, releasing a fix took longer than it should but our devs always try to provide the most convenient and user-friendly way. And since there is usually more than one solution, decision making process slowed us down.

YigitThis is just really frustrating! And I ‘m sorry if I come across harsh. I have high expectations of Kriesi’s themes and the support. But I have to say again, the issue isn’t applying the Google API key, I have already completed that step for this theme and several others, its the Google Map Fetch Coordinates Button that isn’t working.
Well I finally got the Google Map Fetch Coordinates Button to work with the code you guys posted on July 4, 2016 at 7:54 am. I was using the WIDGET code from https://kriesi.at/support/topic/solution-to-google-maps-key-issues/ which you guys recommended in a newer post to someone. Here’s my point, for an issue of this size I shouldn’t have to search through posts from other customers trying to find a fix, this should have been posted at the top of the Enfold support page, clearly outlining the steps you need to take, and what code to use. Like this code corrects the Google map WIDGET issue and this is how you apply it, ABC. And this code corrects the Google map SHORTCODE issue and this is how you apply it, ABC. A clearer support SYSTEM with label solutions would alleviate your customers frustration. Cheers and thank you for the fix.
This is ridiculous. I can’t get alternate plugins to work either without a JS error on loading. Have tried the various solutions. I saw an update today, but it did nothing to fix it. Please advise how to any maps working!
Ok, This worked for me. After I updated to 3.7.1 and the Google Map fetch Coordinates Button didn’t work. I deleted my old Google Map API Key and created a NEW one and I left the URL option empty and added the new key to the Enfold google area and the map now works. I hope this helps!
