Please help. My contact page doesn’t display the Google Map anymore. Instead I got the following error message:
Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details. And this is typical to my other site which uses another Enfold license. Hope you can help soon. My page is: https://sabrostarfruitcompany.com/sabrostar-contact-page/
THANK YOU.

September 24, 2016 at 9:15 pm #691256Hi,
Google services like the map feature is now constrained to work with an API key. It is easy to get the Google API key please refer to this link
If you already created an API key please delete all old API key’s from google account to avoid a conflict.
While setting up the API key make sure to add
*
before and after the domain name without http, www or https in the URL.Example *.kriesi.at/*
Add your API key in the theme options Enfold > Google Services
If you already tried the above steps please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
@joemurphy please create a new ticket to provide your login credentials.Best regards,
VinaySeptember 25, 2016 at 7:52 pm #691365Thank you very much for your help! That actually fixed the issue. But while doing the fix I noticed something I never did before. I have a sticky social media icon (google+, facebook, twitter, print, and +) on the top left border of my screen. The funny part is this icon is not happening in every single page but certain pages. Even though it may be something I accidentally installed previously I have no recollection how and when (since I have not visited this site in a long time). I like the feature but I want to know where should I go and activate/deactivate it so I am in control over it.
Can you please explain. I am guessing this is a feature that came with the theme because I found no plugin installed for social media floating icons. Please see my credentials below if you need to access the backend of the site and check. Thanks a lot!!
September 25, 2016 at 8:52 pm #691373Hi,
I checked for the issue and it is definitely one of the plugins that you have installed.
To find which plugin it is please follow these steps:
1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
2. If the social icons does not appear when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh the page each time until you find the plugin. We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.
Thanks for your cooperation :)
Best regards,
