Inside of my Google Webmaster Tools, it tells me that I have 183 missing pages on my site. Examples include:
• wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/
• this-is-a-nice-post/
• aenean-vulputate-eleifend-tellus-aenean-leo-ligula/
• another-title-for-our-pretty-cool-blog/
• lorem-ipsum-dolor-sit-amet-consectetuer-adipiscing-elit-aenean-commodo-ligula-eget-dolor-aenean-massa/
• kriesi-at/
• this-is-a-test/
My question is, am I supposed to delete all of the unused pages that are included with the theme? Essentially, I just modified the demo to suit my clients needs, but there are a lot of pages that will never be used. The site in and of itself is very basic, with fewer than 10 total pages.
Additionally, the site is not showing well in Google search results. The site shows up well in Google Local results, but does not show up in Organic results. In fact, the company’s Facebook and Google+ pages rank well in the Organic results, but the actual website does not. Thank you for any assistance you can provide!January 10, 2015 at 3:59 am #377679Hey eNVyDesigns!
this issue is not a theme related one, but you can try to put this in your robots.txt:
User-agent: * Disallow: /cgi-bin Disallow: /wp-admin Disallow: /wp-includes Disallow: /wp-content/plugins Disallow: /wp-content/cache Disallow: /wp-content/themes Disallow: /*?* Disallow: /*? Allow: /wp-content/uploads
I think this will give you better google results.
Cheers!

Thank you for the reply. I will make those suggested edits and see what happens. On a side note, do you know why the site preview would not be showing in Chrome? It only shows “Preview Coming Soon”. I’ve done several other WP sites which have showed the preview correctly, but this is my first site using Enfold and it’s not showing. Any ideas?January 14, 2015 at 3:15 am #379236Hi,
Does it works with the default WordPress theme activated? have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?
Cheers!

Add this to your robots.txt file:
Disallow: /wp-content/themes/alpachats/framework/
