    Rikard,

    As requested, new thread…

    Background:

    • Google Fonts being used (Merriwether serif and Lato sans serif) stopped working (or inconsistently in most browsers stopped working), following update to Enfold 4.6. All fonts then default to a sans serif font. Site now set to use Websafe fonts Georgia (serif) and Arial (sans serif).
    • Site now updated to Enfold 4.6.1.
    • Google Fonts were previously implemented via combination of General Styling, Advanced Styling and Quick CSS — but problem seems evidenced just via General Styling and/or Advanced Styling.
    • (FYI: more recently, also having problems with Main Menu (small seperator and Advanced Styling button css/styling disappeared.)

    Login details shared privately.

    Hey mmlab14,

Thanks for the login details and sorry for the problem. I see that the fonts being used on your site seems to reflect the theme settings under Enfold->General Styling->Fonts. How exactly did you apply the font which you are referring to? Please try to be as specific as possible so that we know where you have added the code.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hi, Fonts originally applied in x3 places, i.e. combination of General Styling (variation of current), Advanced Styling (links), and Quick css ( H1-H6).

More recently, just x2 places, i.e. General Styling and Advanced Styling (H1-H6, links, etc.).

Same problem encountered this week, either way.

Was able yesterday to get Google Fonts working on 1-2 desktop browsers, but not 2 others and not on mobile, so reverted back to websafe fonts.

    Thx

FYI: Google Fonts now set as wanted, i.e. Merriwether (serif) for H1-H3, Lato (sans serif) elsewhere.

This is applied via General Styling and Advanced Styling (H4-H6, links, etc.).

These are not working in most browsers, and I have tested elsewhere. So far as I can tell, fonts are reverting to browser (or theme) defaults — typically looking like Arial or comparable for all headings and text.

As mentioned already, fonts do seem to work intermittently on a few browsers, but never all and not consistently/reliably. Thx.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We can’t seem to reproduce the issue on our end. The font is always set to Merriweather no matter how many times we reload the page.
