Hi,
I need your help once more. I use the Quicksand and Work Sans fonts on this website redturtleconsultancy.com. After enabling the cookie consent bar, all fonts on the site have changed to Helvetica and Google font don’t seem to work anymore. How can this be solved?Kind regards,

Thank for that, I can’t reproduce the problem though. I can see the Quicksand and Work Sans fonts being applied to your site without accepting cookies and it’s working both in incognito and regular window using Chrome. I’m not sure how we can reproduce the problem you are having?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 4, 2019 at 3:15 pm #1153711Hi Rikard,
That’s strange.
Both my laptop and my computer and my iPhone show a different font.
When the cookie bar is removed the Quicksand and Work Sans font become visible again. But you cannot fix what is not visible. I understand that.
Thank you for trying.November 5, 2019 at 9:11 am #1153898Hi,
Thanks for the update. Could you send a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end so that we can compare maybe?

RikardNovember 5, 2019 at 10:14 am #1153917Hi,
i have the same problem with different sites, you must reload the page a second time to load the Google Fonts – hopefully this error will be fixed in the next update.Regards,
SoltnerNovember 5, 2019 at 11:27 am #1153946Hi,
Thank you for not giving up.
I’m not sure how to add a screenshot.
I have added two links, one with cookie bar enabled and one with cookie bar disabled.Best regards,
Brigitte VosNovember 5, 2019 at 1:30 pm #1153987Hi Brigitte,
Thanks for that, though I’m getting 404 errors on both links. Could you try uploading them to imgur.com, Dropbox or Google Drive instead please?

Sorry for that. New attempt.
I hope it works.Best regards,
BrigitteNovember 6, 2019 at 6:31 am #1154173Hi Brigitte,
Thanks for that, but I still can’t reproduce the problem on my end. Did you try to clear all the cookies from your browser to see if that helps? You could also try to use a different browser or machine which has never visited the site before.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 6, 2019 at 2:59 pm #1154302Hi Rikard,
It’s a mystery.
I’ve done everything you’ve said several times. I cleared all cookies. I have tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
I asked someone else to visit the website.
Always the same result. No Quicksand and Work Sans font. This is it, I think. Thanks for your patience.

BrigitteNovember 6, 2019 at 3:21 pm #1154303Hi Brigitte,
try to disable >CSS file merging and compression in Theme settings >Performance and >Delete old CSS and JS files?
then clear all cookies and cache from browser (also from the cache-plugin you should use one) and the Google Fonts load… sorry for my bad english :-)Regards,

Thanks for thinking along. Unfortunately the problem has not been solved.Best regards,
BrigitteNovember 10, 2019 at 6:46 pm #1155370Hi,
Have you tried all those? Because this issue is not somewhere else visible from us.

BasilisNovember 11, 2019 at 11:09 am #1155536Hi,
Yes, I’ve tried all those. Twice.
Nothing changes.
Here we all see a font change when the cookie bar is enabled.
It doesn’t look bad, but it’s not what we chose.Best regards,
BrigitteNovember 13, 2019 at 12:09 pm #1156359Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The Enfold > Privacy & Cookies > Default Cookie Behaviour was set to the third option, so the fonts will not load unless the user manually click the privacy toggle to enable the font. We set it to the second option so that once the user accepted the cookies, the fonts will be enabled automatically. You can also set the cookie behaviour settings to the first option if you want the fonts to work automatically on page load even if the cookies have not been accepted yet.
Best regards,
