I want to add google code to my site. it’s my understanding that I do this by going to Appearances then edit. I get the following message when I do:
For your security, we’ve disabled WordPress’ built-in file editor by default.
If you enable editing, all plugin and theme files become editable.should I enable editing or is there a different way to put the google code on pages for analytics?

I don’t know. It sounds like you would want to enable editing.
