    Hi,
Just a quick question : when you copy/past the tracking code of Google Analytics into the Enfold settings, do you copy all the code or just the tracking number (UA-xxxxx-x) ? Does this track also administrators logged in ?
Thank you for your help !

    Hey ehquionest,

Please post the whole code snippet that you got from Google. It does not track anything on the WordPress backend, if it is then Google is probably spying on you :-)

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Thank you for your answer. Since I use Enfold, there is no more stats going on (0 visits, 0 pages vues…) even if I copy/past the whole code. I installed on Google Chrome the extension “Tag Assistant (by Google)” to check if the code is in position, and it is (capture 1 attached bellow).

Capture 2 bellow, shows you that the extension detects that there is a problem with the code with the message “No HTTP response detected”

    Hebergeur d'image

When I click on the link, I end up on Google page with at the bottom of the page the chapter “Missing HTTP response”

    Hebergeur d'image

Any idea of what is going wrong ??
    Thank you!

    Hi!

Can you please check if how you added your domain in google analytics, is the same at the settings of WP?
    Example: http://www.domain.com

    Thanks a lot

    Hi,

Yes, you should be able to get the complete code in your Analytics account. Did you try to copy/paste and did you have any luck? If not then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Yes I copied/past already the code into Enfold settings. I send you the access in private…

    Hi,

Thanks for the details though I can’t see anything wrong, the code is present in the source code on your page. If it’s still not working then I’m not sure what to recommed that you do to be honest, maybe generate a new code in Analytics?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hummm. That was not the answer I was expected to be honnest ;-)
I also used it Google Analytics for WordPress plugin many years for my stats and it also doesn’t generate traffic/stats since I use Enfold theme. So it looks like this is a Enfold theme issue…

    I also tried with this extension : https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/googleanalytics/installation/ ==>> same, nothing…
However, it looks like Piwik analytics is working well (API+plugin wordpress).

    Hey!

Is it working properly now? since piwik plugin is installed? I tried using the chrome extension and still your website shows No HTTP response detected, I don’t think this is a theme issue, if you try to check on our demo site: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ you will see it’s working properly. Would you allow us to deactivate all plugins? so we can check if there is problem with the theme in your site and we can isolate it. Also would you allow us to change it to default theme (probably less than a minute) just to check also if the issue still persists using default wordpress theme such as Twenty Sixteen.

    Cheers!

    Hi Samuel,

It’s good that piwik works for you. What I said before was when using the chrome extension: google tag assistant you have mentioned, that’s the problem I can see but since you said it works then that should be good enough.

    Hi Nikko,
To me ,Google Analytics doens’t work as I have zero traffic since I changed my WordPress theme to Enfold and as Google Tag Assistant says as well. Yes Piwik works indeed.

    Indeed,
But I would have like to correct the bug with Analytics, because if there is one, there is maybe 2 or more… ;-)

By desactivating all plugin and reactivating them one by one, I found that the one disabling Google Analytics is Yendif Player…

All fixed, the author of “Yendif player” did a modification and Analytics works now… Except that I can’t see the dashboard in my admin page ;-)

    Hi ehquionest,

Unfortunately our theme doesn’t offer the dashboard, only the basic stuff, if you want the dashboard plugins are more suited for the job.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
