Hi Have been using an older version of Enfold on this site and recently upgraded to the latest version. There is an external publicity company involved who have specified code snippets added for analytics (but they’ve never worked 100%) – I have included their GA code in the field but they are not receiving any analytics responses at all now… Also they want to track form submissions as well…
Could there be a conflict – or have I mucked the GA approach?

August 10, 2017 at 7:11 am #836781Hi,
Thanks for that. Your analytics code should look something like this:
<script> (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){ (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o), m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m) })(window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga'); ga('create', 'UA-XXXXX-Y', 'auto'); ga('send', 'pageview'); </script>
You can get it from your analytics account.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 10, 2017 at 7:23 am #836783Hi Rikard – thats fab – busy following up with the SEO guys on that. The other thing is form submissions.
They keep sending me this code:
onClick=”ga(‘send’, ‘event’, { eventCategory: ‘Form’, eventAction: ‘Submit’, eventLabel: ‘Contact’});”Which does not seem to be working (I don’t think it will actually)… Is there any way to track form (contact) submissions from the site?
Thanks Matt
August 10, 2017 at 7:27 am #836784Also they were keen to track the video on the home page as well… The code they supplied was this…
onClick=”ga(‘send’, ‘event’, { eventCategory: ‘Homepage Video Play’, eventAction: ‘Click’, eventLabel: ‘Interest’});”
August 10, 2017 at 7:28 am #836786I just found the original code they supplied for the tracking: Didn’t seem to work – but is this correct?
Event Tracking:
Website Call Tracking Code:
<script type=”text/javascript”>
(function(a,e,c,f,g,h,b,d){var k={ak:”853609597″,cl:” 356LCIeo8nAQ_ZiElwM”, autoreplace:”+44 (0) 370 626 0400″};a[c]=a[c]||function(){( a[c].q=a[c].q||[]).push( arguments)};a[g]||(a[g]=k.ak); b=e.createElement(h);b.async= 1;b.src=”//www.gstatic.com/ wcm/loader.js”;d=e. getElementsByTagName(h)[0];d. parentNode.insertBefore(b,d); a[f]=function(b,d,e){a[c](2,b, k,d,null,new Date,e)};a[f]()})(window, document,”_googWcmImpl”,”_ googWcmGet”,”_googWcmAk”,” script”);
</script>August 10, 2017 at 8:14 am #836807I’ve run a test myself on the site – and the GA code seems to bee working. I’ll let you know what the SEO guys say.
Thanks Matt
