    Hi,

Thanks for that. I can’t see a Google Maps API Key in the theme options, could you share the key you are trying to use please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

We get the following error when we try to validate the API key.

js?v=3.45&callback=av_backend_maps_loaded&key=APIKEY:78 Geocoding Service: You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started

This means that the project where the API key is generated doesn’t have a billing account attached to it. You may need to enable the Geocoding Service as well.

I don’t need geocoding API service, I need only Maps JavaScript API

    #1377109

The error that you get is for geocoding service API and not for maps

    #1377115

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

The Geocoding Services API is one of the requirements of the Maps JavaScript API, so you have to enable it. This is actually a common issue and the map token should be good to go once the said API is enabled.

    Ismael

I wouldn’t say so. Maps Javascript API works without Geocoding API they are 2 different APIs and operate separately. This is my first Enfold theme. I am using others like Avada, The 7, and Be theme. The Map is working on all of them only with Maps Javascript API. The difference is that Maps Javascript API doesn’t need a billing account. Can you separate those 2 APIs in Google services and check only Maps?

I have summited this as a feature request for the Dev Team to review, when we hear back we will post here, thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
