    Hello Team,
I have went through a lot of documentation on this topic, both on your pages and also on Google Console support pages.

I have also had Tier 3 support from Gravity View support team, who states the following: “There’s something in the theme causing an error that’s interrupting JavaScript execution and preventing the Maps scripts from loading”. The error they found was in an ‘avia-footer-scripts’ file which had/have a ‘SyntaxError: Undefined label ‘e’.
FYI: The Gravity View support was able to display the maps when testing with the default WP Theme.

In the latest avia-footer-scripts-1e803f9974fb94f6f0151bebb8734b1d—602447d367e9c.js file, (the following is displayed on last line:
    else{console.log(‘Map cannot be displayed because missing display class: ‘+o)}})},AviaMapsLoadConfirmed:function(i){i.preventDefault();var s=a(this),e=s.closest(‘.av_gmaps_main_wrap’).find(‘.avia-google-map-container’);e.aviaMaps()}};a(function(){new s()})})(jQuery);

Further my WP error log comes up with this:
[18-Feb-2021 16:50:28 UTC] PHP Warning: file_get_contents(/URL/public_html/subdomain/https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3.41&key=AIzaSyB03c40n2m7KF–SI_C8bzz7czDudgeUmw): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /(URL)/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/asset-manager.class.php on line 480.

Google API Keys are up to date, and getting verified in both the Enfold Theme (“We were able to properly connect to google maps with your API key”), as well in the Gravity View Settings: (“Mapping: This Google API Key supports embedding a map on your site. Geocoding: This Google API key is able to convert addresses into longitude and latitude”). Further, the Google Map Js API is enabled in the Google Console).

However, it also appears that the Enfold Theme is not updating the Google API key correctly, as the key indicated in above WP error log is not the active API key. The current API is provided in the ‘Private Content’ field.

I would indeed appreciate your help here as we have used quite a bit of time to resolve this, but until now without any luck.

I can also setup admin credentials for you as the page we are using for the map is not public, but reserved to users only.

    Seeing forward hearing from you,

    Best regards,
    Bjorn

Victoria, just to get you into the right track :-) and so you can locate where I use the maps

    Hi CanuteAdmin,

I got to the page you described, entered a location, and see no map and no errors. What is supposed to happen there?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

We do not see any maps either and that is the whole point of our request.

On the ‘client-side’ page, sub-menu ‘Business’ and button ‘Location Maps’, you will see a Gravity Form where user can put in an address and click a submit button. Hence, in the right side you will see a Gravity View with a list of address fields, but the Google Maps are not showing, only the addresses.

As pointed out by the Gravity View support, they were able to make the Google maps showing when testing on a default WP Theme, but not able to display/see the Google Maps when testing on the Enfold Theme. Hence, as they say, there is something in the Enfold Theme that prevents the maps from showing/displaying.

    Best regards,

    Bjorn

    Victoria,
I think it could be worth looking into this:
avia-footer-scripts-1e803f9974fb94f6f0151bebb8734b1d—602447d367e9c.js file, the following is displayed on last line:
    else{console.log(‘Map cannot be displayed because missing display class: ‘+o)}})},AviaMapsLoadConfirmed:function(i){i.preventDefault();var s=a(this),e=s.closest(‘.av_gmaps_main_wrap’).find(‘.avia-google-map-container’);e.aviaMaps()}};a(function(){new s()})})(jQuery);

If you need access to cPanel I shall give you that,

    Best regards,
    Bjorn

    Victoria,

I have just setup a test page on a new sub-domain, using a default WP Theme, maps are showing without any problem so here you can see the expected end result.

As mentioned earlier, Gravity View support team tested this out on the Enfold Theme and the Default WP Theme, with all plugins activated, and the maps didn’t show in the Enfold Theme, but did show in the default WP Theme.

Please check out below URL, thanks

    Hi CanuteAdmin,

Maybe you need to disable the theme’s Google maps, so that there is no conflict. You can deactivate them in the theme options and also disable JavaScript merging and enable it after a while.

    Victoria

    Hi!

I’m having the same issue. An error in the avia-script file: SyntaxError: Undefined label ‘e’ which seems to relate to something regarding the Google services included in the theme. I’ve tried disabling the Google services but that didn’t clear it up. Also assigning an API key did not work to solve this issue. This is happening since I’ve been trying to update to the latest version of the Enfold theme.

    Kind regards

    Hi debucktravel,

Please create a separate thread and post your admin credentials in private content, so we can check on it further.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
