Hi,
We run a large multisite network with several sites, some of the content is across several sites. The feature of saving and importing templates of individual pages is a feature that we very much appreciate but what would make it even better would be to enable these templates to be shared across the network. And if it possible to update the template and all the pages using that section is updated would be great.
If anybody knows about a way to solve this that would be very interesting to hear and if at any time this would be incorporated into the general functionality of the theme then that would be even better.
Thank you your great work.
(is it possible to buy as a plugin/addon this i would)
March 16, 2018 at 6:08 am #927934Hey Magnus,
Thank you for using Enfold.
I’m sure that this will be a very useful feature but global elements or templates, specially across a multisite, is going to take a very complex implementation. It may take a while before this feature is added to the theme. Please feel free to request – or vote if already requested – such feature on Enfold feature request form.
Best regards,

Thanks for the feedback, though this is the only feature request system we have in place at the moment.

RikardNovember 29, 2018 at 1:21 pm #1038935This would be a pretty good feature. I have a footer with a partner logo element, i did save that as template, but as I add it to every page, if I edit one i got to go through all the pages and edit each of them.
So yes, it would be very practical to be able to save as global so ones one is edited every other would do so as well.
Keep the good work coming:-)
DanielNovember 30, 2018 at 3:01 pm #1039326Hi Dewdan,
The thing is that we already have this. You can create one page and set it to be a footer and so you don’t need to add to all pages and it is edited in one place. Did you know this?
Best regards,
VictoriaNovember 30, 2018 at 3:45 pm #1039346Hi Victoria,
I learn a new thing today, I haven`t test this but it sounds pretty cool.
As I am not using the footer widgets, I guess I need to use the Content Element/page content right?Thank you very much for enlightening my day, have a great weekend!

I think Victoria is talking about a setting under Footer in Enfold where you can choose to have a page as footerSe this screenshot from my mobile
November 30, 2018 at 5:57 pm #1039394Thank you Magnus, now I got it, unfortunately I do use the socket, not the widgets. I guess I could create the socket on the page but this is ready now so I will not bother, It is nice to know in the future I will test this as it is annoying having to edit every single page’s footer.
Cheers
