I’ve looked up the forum and couldn’t found the answer.
I’m using the masonry portfolio grid and I want it to show a specific gif image on hover.
iva tried using the extract option and inserting that the gif image but it didn’t work.
how can I use a gif image on the hover?September 5, 2020 at 12:20 pm #1243569Hey MPPcreative,
Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?
Best regards,
VictoriaSeptember 6, 2020 at 11:16 am #1243715Hey Victoria,
I’m trying to achieve this portfolio grid page –
if it would be possible to achieve both the animated icon and the gif on hover it would be great, if not then just one of them.
thank you!September 7, 2020 at 7:09 pm #1244066Hi MPPcreative,
Well, it’s possible to show a gif image on hover. Do you have the image uploaded to the website already?
Could you please give us a link to your website, we need more context to be able to help you.

September 11, 2020 at 4:14 pm #1245175Hi,
Resized GIFs do not animate. Instead of “http://your-url.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/PLAY-GIF-80×80.gif”, please use “http://your-url.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/PLAY-GIF.gif”
I edited first two posts and adjusted the links. Please review your website :)
