Hi there how’s it going hope your well,
Working on a site with the Enfold theme and wondering if its possible to get a shortcode of individual media elements from the Enfold editor such as “partners” “testimonials” etc and take these blocks so I can insert them in regular pages and posts.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you- This topic was modified 3 years, 9 months ago by agrtechnology3123.
March 4, 2021 at 9:32 am #1285291Hey Alessio,
Yes, you can use those shortcodes. You need to enable the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode, make the test page with the Advanced Layout Builder, add the elements you need, configure them and copy the shortcode from the debug field below to wherever you need them.
Here is how to enable the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode:

March 9, 2021 at 4:51 am #1286617Hi,
Thanks for the update. You can save the elements in question as templates, if you click the folder+arrow icon when hovering over the element in the layout builder. After that, then you can load the element in other pages and posts. If you need for us to find the shortcodes for you, then we need access to the backend of your site. Please post them in private, if you need us to find the shortcodes for you.

How can I find the shortcodes from these templates now that they are created?
Thanks
AlessioMarch 13, 2021 at 2:48 pm #1288002Hi Alessio,
You can either load your templates into a new page, or if you want to see the actual shortcode, then you can activate debug mode (check the link above posted by Victoria). You will then see the shortcodes in a separate box under your Layout.

RikardMarch 15, 2021 at 6:30 am #1288166Thanks Rikard tried that and got a shortcode block however when I add it to a test page it doesn’t appear on publishing. I have included the code block and can you please confirm if this is the right text I need to copy?
Thanks
March 18, 2021 at 5:26 am #1288880Hi,
Thanks for the update. I tried your shortcode on a local installation, and it works fine. It’s a header though, and I think you wanted testimonials? If to then you would have to locate that shortcode, and copy only that portion.
If you need further help, then please let us know which shortcode you want to copy, and post admin WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,
RikardApril 1, 2021 at 5:44 am #1291675Unfortunately still not working from another test, I have attached the code block I copied here. It doesn’t render the same as the homepage.
April 4, 2021 at 5:01 am #1292160Hi,
Thanks for the update. So what is the difference between the home page, and the new page? Did you try to copy all of the shortcode, then remove what you don’t need after that?
