Why, if we subscribe to the support group do we get ALL questions that people post and not just those tickets we have opened ourselves? I don’t want to get 20 emails every hour….how can I set it to JUST getting emails associated or answers to the tickets or topics I open?

Yes, if you subscribe to forum you get every notification. You should check “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” above submit button when creating your thread or replying – http://i.imgur.com/VblgFp1.png
