I finding that the custom css and General styling is taking 10 minutes or so to show a change. Yet page changes show in the browser immediately after updating a page.
Please let me know if there is a fix. I believe I have the most updated version of Enfold.
If its a caching problem with my IS provider, would you know what steps to take to resolve this?

January 27, 2015 at 3:55 pm #386318Hey Fieldtripper!
Please flush cache and refresh your page after making styling changes.
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 27, 2015 at 5:34 pm #386399If you mean the browser cache – yeas – I flush it every time. But NO, it doesn’t work.
Just tested it. Changed the socket bar color, from gray to purple. Changed it back to gray, and its still purple on all browsers, even after flushing caches.January 27, 2015 at 5:45 pm #386412Hey!
There may be some sort of server side caching. Please contact your service for more information.

YigitJanuary 27, 2015 at 5:49 pm #386422Yes, part of my original question is if it it on the server side, what is it?
Since I can make immediate revisions to pages, refresh the page and see the revisions, what in the Enfold theme options would cache? Is the theme information different or stored in a different format?
They tech support on the server will not know and they will ask this question.
Do you know?
Any help would be helpful. Thank you.
-michaelJanuary 28, 2015 at 7:28 am #386782Today I installed Enfold onto another completely separate server.
After experimenting with changing the socket color, then flushing my cache, the socket color change still doesn’t show after clearing the cache on all browsers. Its unlikely that there would be two server came clearing problems, so I’m just wondering if there is anything in the theme that I can do to fix this. has anyone else noticed this problem?
You help would be much appreciated.-michael

Thank you for the update.
I checked the dashboard but we don’t have access on the Plugins panel. What plugins are currently installed there? Do you have a cache and minify plugin? If yes, please deactivate those while working on the site.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I just changed the settings to allow you to see the plugins.
There are only a few.
I set the socket background color to orange and it immediately changes on my browser, but when I change it again it stays orange for about 10 minutes before the new color shows.
But changes to to pages in the layout editor show immediately.-m

Looks like the css styling is stuck after every theme options toggle but we can’t reproduce the same issue on our installation. The general styling works immediately after every update. Please try to contact your hosting provider. Ask them if there is any server side cache. Also, please check if files inside the wp-content folder have the correct file permission.
Cheers!
