    Hi @Victoria,

Unfortunately it seems like @Basilis closed the thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/general-styling-issue-on-multi-language-site/#post-942311 without actually giving me the precise answer to allow me to understand what you did to fix the issue, so I can do it myself and not open another thread in the future, once I run into the same issue.

Thank you for letting me know what you did to fix the issue in the thread above.

    Best,

    Antonio

i use WPML myself and the styling for each language is in my opinion a feature and not a bug.
the thing is that the whole enfold option page is per language.
So my advice is to make first all of the styling and then the content in different languages.

F.e if you put in the quick css of your page ( english Version) some entries – these entries aren’t automatically added to the other languages.
So if you like to have overall the same styling – and f.e. your are satisfied with the english version go and export on the englisch Enfold Options Page the theme-settings file.
Switch to the other languages and import that file for each language.

This is as i said for me a feature – because e.g. i can have a turkish and a german version of one site. the turkish prefer to have saturated colors on the other hand, germans like harmonious colors. ( please no generalization – but on the whole this might be true – see some turkish newspapers )
So the one could have high color contrast – the other not.
    Same with font-family etc.

Thanks for your input Guenni :)

In my case, the sites I make are for vacation rental properties and they need to have the same exact color settings on each page.
The strange thing happening sometimes, as in the case of the thread I opened is that when I go to the Enfold settings for let’s say ‘language B’ and I copy/paste all the same exact hex codes into the Enfold styling options page for such a language, it doesn’t show those colors.

Now, I normally clone a standard site I’ve done to save time, rather than recreate each single page one by one, so I have all the settings already in place and I just change photos, copy and rearrange on page elements.

So my question for @Victoria, who apparently fixed the issue, was what did she do to fix it, so I can do the same next time that happens.

On a side note, I’m not a developer, so I either need some guidance on the steps to follow or an easy way to fix it.

Thank you for your help, much appreciated.

    Hi,

Thank you for the update. There’s an intermittent issue with W P M L where the translated pages’ shortcode tree are not created unless the shortcode parser is ran. This particular issue breaks the layout of the translated pages which may also affect the color settings. You have to update the translated pages to regenerate the shortcode tree. Did you enable the ALB’s debug mode and the element options for the developer inside the Enfold > Layout Builder panel?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi @Ismael,

Thank you for chiming in. Yes, I enabled the ALB as per @Victoria’s request, but then I didn’t know anything anymore about what was done afterwards to fix the issue.
I updated the translated pages many times in the past, because I added things, but I never really saw any changes in the issues until Victoria asked me to enable ALB then some of you possibly went inside the site and fixed it, but I have no clue what fix you have done.

hm i do translate the pages / post the same way. i check duplicate and then change text and maybe images etc.
And that causes the lost of f.e colorsection background-colors ? or other style settings on that page –
On copy the content i thought that this was transformed too.

    Hi,

It’s possible that the shortcode tree was regenerated after enabling the debug mode. This will also enable the parser which will then automatically fix the shortcode tree, if set to the third option, on page update. I’m not sure who enabled the shortcode parser’s third option but I’m glad it is fixed.

    @Guenni007
: Where can we see the issue? Please create a test page.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
