    To whom it may concern,

    We have 2 websites using the Enfold Theme. Unfortunately we don’t have the logins or the purchase code/license as the previous developer didn’t send it to us. Would it be possible to help me in accessing the account or sending us the purchase code? We are having problems. I think the theme is outdated and whenever we try to update something the page keeps on loading and can’t edit anything.

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You are using Enfold versions 3.8 and 3.5.2 on your websites which are not compatible with your WordPress version. Updating the theme to the latest version 4.7.6.4 – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ would fix the issues you are having.

    Please try to contact the previous developer and request them to update the theme and to generate Personal Token for you – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. If that would not be possible, I am afraid you would need to purchase a new license to update the theme and to receive full support.

    Hi,

    So if I buy a new license, I wouldn’t loose anything from the current website right if I update the theme since its a new license ?

    Have you used a child theme and quick css for customizations?

    Hi Jordan,

    With regards to quick css, yes there is some customization done, but for the child theme I believe there isn’t since this was developed by a previous developer.

    Would it be ok if I still update ?

    Hi,

    If there was heavy customization on core theme files and no child theme was used, there is a small chance some things may be overwritten.
