March 14, 2018 at 8:12 pm #926811Hey,
Most of the changes will applied on WordPress and Google services. Nevertheless, we will make sure Enfold meets GDPR requirements before deadline. You can also try using a plugin such as this one for time being – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gdpr-compliance/
Best regards,
YigitMarch 17, 2018 at 10:08 am #928422That plugin does not really help that much. It adds a check box that forces people to opt in, whereas the GDPR is about options and there is no option for anonymous or to be forgotten. I think GDPR has massive implications for wordpress and a theme that helps with this ruling is going to be sought after. Mind you its not just a theme, its wordpress and hosting companies as well. Will be interesting to see how removing peoples data such as emails stored on a hosting server will get removed.
March 17, 2018 at 10:53 am #928429Hi,
We will have more information by the end of this month and make sure everything is covered on Enfold’s side. WooCommerce, WordPress, Google, hosting companies etc. are all affected by it and i am pretty sure they will make sure to meet the requirements until deadline as well :)

YigitMay 1, 2018 at 1:36 am #949295Hi guys,
Here’s a few plugins just in case: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cookie-notice/
and https://wordpress.org/plugins/gdpr/
But I’d love to have an option on the Contact Forms to add the Accept or Not options.
For those looking to update the Privacy Policies, I found that iubenda makes it easy to pick and choose all of the services (not all hosting companies are listed though) and the list of GDPR compliance providers is super long!
If anybody has any ideas, solutions and/or suggestions maybe we can help each other here!
Thank you!!!
