Hi there
My mason gallery does not appear to working. Here’s an example page:
The flexible masonry thumbnails appear correctly, but when an image is clicked, just an enlarged jpeg appears (instead of the normal lightbox that allows scrolling between images on a desktop device).
thanks, Gary

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

December 1, 2018 at 4:21 pm #1039673Hi,
Thanks for that, what happens if you disable Autoptimize? You could also try to disable the theme feature under Enfold->Performance, remember to delete the old CSS and JS files if you change anything there.

RikardDecember 1, 2018 at 5:43 pm #1039700Hi Rikard
Thanks. Tried disabling but that didn’t help the gallery. In fact disabling Autoptimise threw out some elements on the homepage!
Best regards
GaryDecember 2, 2018 at 8:53 am #1039830Hi,
Thank for the update, I checked your site and the homepage loads fine.
let us know if you need any help or we can close this ticket?

VinayDecember 2, 2018 at 1:24 pm #1039915Hi Vinay
You have misunderstood this! The issue is with the masonry galleries, not the hompage (see first post).
1. So Rikard suggested deactivating Autoptimise.
2. But doing this didn’t help with the gallery problem and also threw out the homepage.
3. I have therefore reactivated the Autoptimise (homepage now fine), but we still have the original problem.
thanks
GaryDecember 2, 2018 at 3:06 pm #1039957Hi Gary,
Thanks for the update. It looks like all the images are being loaded via a CDN, what happens if you turn that off? Also, are we allowed to disable Autoptimize for testing purposes?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 2, 2018 at 4:41 pm #1039981Hi Rikard
I have have copied the main site to a staging version:
So feel free to disable Autoptimise here etc for testing. And I have also disabled the CDN (this applies to the main site too).
Access details still the same (see private content)

Did you have any luck with this?
thanks
GaryDecember 6, 2018 at 5:12 pm #1041752My wife asked a developer to take a quick look as this and he said:
There are no js errors in the console, so nothing to go on there.
When switching to the parent theme the lightbox does work. So that suggests that there is something going on with the child theme that is causing the problem.
Comparing the two I can see that the lightbox-added class is not being appended to the image container so that would explain the problem. The question is what in the child theme is causing this? I can see nothing obvious.Does this help?
thanks
GaryDecember 10, 2018 at 4:51 am #1042883Hi,
Did you update the header.php file in the child theme? Please update it or disable it temporarily. That should fix the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 11, 2018 at 6:33 pm #1043906Thanks Ismael – that fixed it!
best regards
