Hello, I’m an avid user of the Gallery–I find it to be one of the most useful features to show clients a bunch of photos I need them to see, or just to post a bunch of images. However, there are a few issues with it:
1) Inability to select multiple photos, for reordering. If I add a bunch of photos to a gallery and I want them all moved to the middle, I have to spend time dragging them one by one.
2) When dragging to reorder, you need to constantly wiggle your mouse for the window to continue scrolling.
3) When dragging to reorder, it gets glitchy and large blank spaces open up, and it gets hard to drop the image in the intended location.
4) All photos retain their filename. If I don’t want those original filenames to be seen, I have to manually delete every photo’s description, one by one.Below please find a quick video showing these.
None of these are dealbreakers, they’re just a bit annoying, it would be nice if improved.

Thank you for the inquiry.
The theme is actually using the default Media > Library features, or it does not have its own implementation of the media library options such as sorting, dragging etc, so this would have to be improved in the core. Unfortunately, this is not yet included in the list of upcoming improvements. You may need to use a plugin to improve or extend the experience in the gallery editing.
