Hey you wonderful supporters,
I am trying to build a lightbox gallery and am stuck with two problems:
1. I wish to open the gallery in a lightbox when the user clicks on a thumbnail picture, however, I don’t want the thumbnail pic itself to be included in the lightbox view. So, technically I wish to start the gallery view with the ‘second image’. Is that possible to achieve with on-board tools, or do I need to get an additional lightbox-plugin?
Visual explanation:

However, many lightbox views on other websites (e.g. Flickr), offer a second click that zooms to a 100% view (and make the user scroll a bit down to see the rest of the image – but that’s desired here). It is usually indicated by a magnifying glass icon. Can you guide me how to realize that in Enfold?

Can you show us what you’ve got so far?
Could you please give us a link to your website, we need more context to be able to help you.
Best regards,

That is not a thumb, I mean, that image is a part of the gallery and is shown in the lightbox as well.

thanks for following up! My intention is, to have a small picture (which I created intentionally to be in a specific size of 595x315px and not bigger) that can link to a gallery in a lightbox view. That small picture should not be part of the gallery displayed in the lightbox. It’s just the trigger. That’s my goal. Do you see any way, that I can achieve this?
And the other question was about the magnification. Any hint for me, in which direction I need to go to solve this?
Thanks for your efforts helping me

Well, not with the current galleries that we have, maybe there is a plugin that can do that or this custom functionality needs to be built.
Best regards,
