    Hello Kriesi Support,

    I just want to say I love the Enfold theme, its a real solid product.

    I would like know if you have developed a theme function which allows a developer to add custom icons adjacent to navigation items in the hamburger mobile menu?

    I know that i can add icons as backgrounds images with CSS but I would like to know if it can be done using a function.

    Is this possible?

    Hi Darrell,

    We don’t have a function for that unfortunately, I think writing a function like that would be more work than using plain CSS to be honest. Why do you need a function as opposed to CSS?

    Thanks for getting back to me,

    Thats a shame,
    I require a function so that I can integrate some existing functionality that I have created.

    Currently, I have written a function which pulls icon file urls from a WordPress category (using get_terms syntax) into an array.
    I’d like to invoke another function which takes the icons and adds them next to items in the hamburger menu.

    Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
