    Hi there,

    My blog page with right sidebar looks lovely and normal until I try to add a fullwidth slider to it between the header and the blog posts.
    What happens then is the blank content column and sidebar column get pushed up between the header and the slider and all the main content and sidebar content switches to full width and gets pushed down below the slider as if it was in a footer.
    I’ve tried deactivating the plugins after a reading a couple of other threads here, but it made no difference.
    I hope you can help! :)

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Did you modify anything in the theme files? Please try to delete the entire enfold folder then upload it again via FTP.

    Hi Ismael,

    Thanks for your reply. I haven’t added any custom css, if that’s what you mean. And I haven’t physically gone into the theme files to modify anything.
    Forgive my ignorance, but if I delete the entire Enfold folder, won’t I lose all of the design work I’ve already done?

    Hey!

    There is a container that is automatically added on top of the page. I’m not sure where it’s coming from. The theme options should stay intact if you delete the theme folder because it it save in the database. Anyway, please create a backup and a restore point just in case.

    Hi Ismael,

    I deleted the folder and uploaded it again via FTP and the problem is still there, unfortunately
    I hope you have some more ideas :)

    Hi Ismael,

    That seemed to work (and looked great) for about two minutes.
    Changes I made after setting your test page as the blog page:
    Deactivated Flare plugin
    Changed sidebar to Blog sidebar
    Removed the footer and set to socket only
    Removed some of the post metadata
    Set the Blog page to display 6 excerpts with Read more (in Avia Blog posts block and in WordPress Reading settings)

    For a while it was all looking great and then suddenly it all went wrong and seems to be completely disregarding my instructions. The Blog header doesn’t display and instead of showing six excerpts the page displays full posts…
    Also when I’m in the WP dashboard in the Blog page, if I click on Preview changes it takes me to some really weird awful version of my Home page! :(

    Since you delete the default blog page, the blog option in theme options panel has been reset to default. We set it again for you: http://bursttobright.com/blog/
