Hi Genius’,
For some reason the fullwidth easy slider is automatically loading a thumbnail size 1500px x 586 (when the original is 1920px x 750px (and I select “No scaling (Original width x original height)”.I thought I could get around it by using the Fullscreen Slider instead… it works on pc but it isn’t responsive.
Would very much appreciate your help on how I fix the fullwidth easy slider?March 9, 2018 at 6:58 am #924281Hey Annemarie,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

VictoriaMarch 9, 2018 at 10:10 am #924364Hi Victoria… thanks!
I have put a fullwidth easy slider back in and loaded a slider 1617px wide (which matches the container size)… but after some playing it is still loading the 1500px width thumbnail no matter what I do, so help would be much appreciated :-)

the issue is that the original image is 1617px wide, it is loaded into the media and available at that size and the selection I have set is “load original image size” but it is only
- loading a thumbnail size of 1500px wide
– yes I can stretch it but that’s the thing I want to avoid so the image is as crisp as it can be. I have built at least 25 sites with Enfold and always used the Fullwidth Easy Slider in exactly the same way and it loads my original size no problem (with or without a link on the image).

Thank you for the info. Did you optimize the images with the “Shortpixel” plugin? We set the dimension value of the plugin’s “Resize large images” option to 1920x1080px. Please try to re-upload the image again.

IsmaelMarch 21, 2018 at 3:07 pm #930614Hi Ismael,
no I didn’t resize images… I have just uploaded two images into the media archive again… one 1920px and one 1617px wide and they are both still resizing to a 1500px width.Annemarie.
March 22, 2018 at 5:56 am #931035Hi,
Some kind of script is resizing the image. These parameters are appended to the image url.
?resize=1500%2C613&ssl=1
See private field. Do you have any idea what’s causing that? Please try to deactivate the plugins.

IsmaelMarch 22, 2018 at 12:18 pm #931201Ismael thank you so much for your time. Thanks to your tip (and for info for anyone with the same problem), on this site it’s the first time we are using a “Jetpack” package and there is a setting that we clicked called “serve images from our servers”… when we deactivated that setting the slider now works as perfect as it always has.
So sorry for taking up your time!!
