    Hi,

    Quick question, I want to optimize my Enfold website for mobile users. The “Fullwidth Easy Slider” component has the option to be hidden on small screens, but when I enable this option I noticed that the component still loads the images.
    Is this a bug? I’d expect that small screens would not load any assets when hidden rule applies.

    Hey RDc_takenbyahufter,

    That is not a bug, the size of the slider is the same.
    You can always modify it by using media queries.

    Thanks for the response. If I want to skip loading the images in the slider on small screens, how do I do that?

    Hi RDc_takenbyahufter,

    What do you mean by that? You can hide the whole component with the help of the screen options and have something instead.

    Hi Victoria,

    I know I can hide the component, this is working as expected on small screens for example. The problem is that this hidden component (in this case the fullwidth easy slider) still loads images. The user loads images that are not displayed, resulting in a slow page load.
    I hope this explains my problem, if needed I can setup a demo URL but unfortunately this takes some time for me.

    Hi RDc_takenbyahufter,

    I understand your point however Hiding Elements via Screen Options doesn’t totally remove the slider but just hides the slider via css.
    I think that feature would be great however Enfold doesn’t have that type of feature yet, but it might have that improvement in the feature.
