Hello, we are using the full width easy slider and when the first navigation dot is clicked the page scrolls to the bottom, if any of the other dots are clicked the slider moves to the correct slide. Please could you advise on how to stop the first dot from scrolling the page and instead have it display the first slide. Thank you.

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,

Did you have a chance to look at our issue? We’re keen to roll out to the live site, but don’t want to confuse our customers.Kind regards

Please setup a staging site (a duplicate of your site) where we can safely try to apply some solutions, without affecting your live site.
Once a solution is made then we can apply that to your live site and lessen the risk of causing issues to the live site.
Here’s a simple tutorial to follow: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
NikkoMay 17, 2021 at 1:43 am #1300614Hi Caryl and Nikko!
Have you found a solution to that problem? I have got the same issue – only it is the first two dots making the site scroll down. AND: I found out the problem only appears on the front page. When copying the slider to a different page it works all fine…
Any idea what to do? What does the dot actually link to?
Would be glad if you could let me know about your results!
Thanks a lot and kind regards,

No, we never got to the bottom of this problem. It links to your site URL/#1. For example. if your site URL is mysiteurl.com then the first dot is a link to mysiteurl.com/#1 and the second dot is a link to mysiteurl.com/#2 etc. I’m not working on this site anymore, so haven’t followed it up, but the problem is still not fixed in the latest version.
Kind regards
CarylMay 18, 2021 at 9:04 am #1300898Hi,
@JudiPu: Can we check the site? Please post the site URL in the private field. Did you create any elements with a numbered ID? This is the site navigation markup.<div class="avia-slideshow-dots avia-slideshow-controls"> <a href="#1" class="goto-slide">1</a><a href="#2" class="goto-slide active">2</a></div>
It is possible there is an element or elements in the page with the #1 and #2 ID.
Best regards,
