Tagged: slideshow
I have pages with the “Fullwidth Easy Slider” at the top. The text below is pushed to about 1000px below the image until the second image is loaded into the slideshow. It’d be not such a big deal but the slideshow is at the top of most of our pages and the content/text isn’t visible when people visit the pages.

I’m running 4.9. This is a recent behaviour – possibly since the release before 4.9.
correction: just reverted to 4.8.9.1 as the upgrade to 4.9 has mucked up my widgets
Hi,
The large space seems to still be happening on your site, so I don’t think it’s caused by the latest version of the theme?
I’m not sure which widgets you are referring to. If it’s the footer, then please check if you are overriding footer.php or header.php in a child theme. If you are, then please replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisation back in after that.
If you need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,
Rikard
I think the slider issue started happening a release or two back (and continued when I upgraded to 4.9).
I’ve reverted to the previous release so will try to figure out the widget thing later.

…the reason I think it’s slider-related is that the text moves up as soon as the 2nd image is loaded.
