    Hello,
    I like to have a fullwidth image together with a transparent header, please have a look:

    Elevator-Pitch: Darum sollten Sie mit mir zusammenarbeiten.

    In my opinion the best solution is to take the fullwidth slider instead of the color section. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Unfortunately the slider pictures do not have the original size of 1920 x 440 px and so they loose quality on wider screens. I already tried to resize in functions.php, l. 146:
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘featured’] = array(‘width’=>1500, ‘height’=>430 ); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
    with the a. m. size, but there are no changes visible. So your support is appreciated.

    Hi Thomas,

    Are you sure that you are selecting the correct resolution when adding the image to the slider from the WordPress gallery? You will get a choice on the right hand side when actually selecting the image.

    Hello Rikard,
    I already wondered because I have no choice of sizes at this point. See attached screenshot. At bottom right you find directly “Bild ändern” so here it turns back to the general settings of fullwidth slider. What have I done wrong?

    Hi,

    Try the following:
    1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
    2. Go to Settings > Media
    3. Change the image size in question (increase its width / height).
    4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.
