Hello,
I noticed today that when I select a fallback image for a video on our homepage, the fallback image loads and is then replaced by the YouTube thumbnail/default video image. You can view it in the top of our homepage by clicking here
For the Fullscreen Slider, I have the following settings toggled:
Slider Styling:
– No scaling (16:9 required)
– Hidden slideshow controlsAdvanced
– Privacy: Wait for user interaction
– Slider Animation: parallax, sideways transition, default transition speed, no animationAnimation
– Do not use lazy loadingSingle Video Slide

– Disable autoplay toggled
– Hide video controls toggle

– Heading tag default
– No custom css class
– No link and no overlayOctober 1, 2020 at 11:56 am #1249849Hey npmcgrew,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We did not find any slider in the home page. Did you remove it? The fallback image should not display on desktop view because the image tag is created dynamically with a script only on mobile view.
Best regards,

I went ahead and removed it just to try to keep the page loading quicker during the initial sales period for us. It seemed to load the fallback image I had uploaded first and then would flicker to the default YouTube preview image with the play button.
As I was only enabling the fullscreen slider element here for desktop users as is, I decided to just change it to an image and get to working on some other odds and ends.
