    After adding a consent plugin to my page neither a full-width easy slider nor a background video works. They show a black page. They used to work before I accepted the consent box and refreshed the page afterward. This is a landing page for my ads, so it’s critical to make it work. I am grateful for any help.

    Hey snitt,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The background video will only load once the user has accepted the cookies because it’s a YouTube video, which stores cookies locally and requires consent. Since you’re using a custom cookie and privacy plugin, we are not sure if there is an option that allows YouTube videos to play without user consent. Please contact the plugin author for more info.

    Sorry, I should have informed you that I also tried to upload and add video file though wordpress library. That did not work either.

    Thank you for your patience, when I check your two pages the videos now work so I assume that you found the correct setting in your consent plugin, shall we close this thread then?
