Hi
I have a Site layout design the requires the home page to have a right hand sidebar and a left side content section. within the content section is the “Full width slider” meaning it fills up the entire width of the parent element without any padding or margins. basically exactly what the fullwidth slider does normally just within the constraints of the container.
Is there anyway to get this working?
May 26, 2014 at 11:55 am #270015Hi Diezel23!
You can use Easy Slider element instead. All fullwidth elements would work fullwidth, hence the name :)
Cheers!
YigitMay 26, 2014 at 1:11 pm #270069Easy Slider does not fill the container to the edges of the specific column and does not have the functionality of the other slider “hence easy slider” ;-). Should think about adding this and also to add classes to the different container elements…

Can you post the link to your page where we can see an example with Easy Slider? Alternatively, you can add Widget Area element to your page to display your widgets on the right side and use fullwidth layout.
Best regards,

Looks like you have the elements full width at the moment.

I think not dude..
Fulll width would not have a sidebar on the side……. like duh, kinda check your knowledge base.
But anyway seems like you are not capable to assist me with this matter. pittyMay 29, 2014 at 6:28 pm #271902Hey!
Seems like you already figured it out. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues

YigitJune 5, 2014 at 4:58 pm #275210Like I said in my reply to Devin… You really need to make sure you investigate properly before making the assumption “looks like I came right”. As an End User this is rather alarming if this is the type of support one can expect from the Enfold Platform.
So to be blunt – No I did not come right, because if you read my request, it clearly state that I would liked to have accomplished what I have by using the Advanced Slider WPSlider and not the easy slider….. I cannot add animation functions as it is now. Because although it seems like I am using full width it is not, and if you did really care to assist me in this issue you would see that there is a sidebar on the side and should indicate that all I did to create this layout was to set the Content wrapper width to 100%….. but no real investigation was done, but mere assumptions.
June 5, 2014 at 5:21 pm #275224Hey!
LayerSlider works only fullwidth unless you have it as a standalone plugin.
You said “Easy Slider does not fill the container to the edges of the specific column” and i asked for your website to help you with that and it seemed like you figured it out, that is why i thought “like you came right”. Sorry for confusionCheers!
