Tagged: full width masonry, perfect grid
Hi,
I am having issues with the perfect manual grid and perfect grid options in the full width masonry element.
I am displaying portfolio items on the front page of http://vanitysocks.com. I noticed that featured images are not sized to cover the grid area, but in some cases they are repeated. A good example is J. Crew Factory socks or Marcoliani and Bresciani socks on the front page.
It happens to normal sized portfolio items, as well as items tagged portrait and landscape. This feature worked well a few weeks back with the same images and portfolio items, unfortunately I can’t tell when exactly it went wrong.
Besides the above, I noticed that sometimes images are displayed OK. If I scroll to the top in this case and down again, images will be corrupt as described above.
Please advise,
Thanks
Mark
Hi takacsmark!
Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps

Thanks Yigit,
I isolated the route cause. It was my lazy load plugin. I tried Lazy load and BJ Lazy Load and got the same issue. Is there any lazy load solution you can suggest with the Enfold theme?
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark!
To be honest i think any lazy load functionality will cause conflict with the Masonry elements, one thing you can do to thin the page weight is limit the number of items shown + use pagination.

Thanks Josue,
I reviewed many plugins and found that BJ Lazy load can be configured not to lazy load images. I do not know how much it will improve loading the rest of the content, anyway I am running it in production now and everything is fine.
Thanks for your help, let’s close this case

Cheers!
