I would like to use a full width image for the logo in enfold. So the image with span across the whole top of the site and act as a logo/ banner. The menu will sit below it.
What would be the best route to achieve this?
I want to have a full width logo (header) in the enfold theme. I’m facing two issues:
1. how to make the logo full width?
2. What size the image should be to not loose the resolution on different screen sized?November 5, 2014 at 7:51 am #346376here is the sample image of what I am thinking to make:
November 5, 2014 at 10:05 am #346415Hi!
The best way to do add a fullwidth logo would be to select the “Logo Centre, Menu below” option in Enfold Theme Options > Header > Header Layout > Menu Logo and Position
The logo width is automatically resized depending on the screen size. Therefore I would suggest a high resolution (1000px wide + ) so that it doesn’t lose quality but to be honest, it does depend a lot on the logo.

I have tried the thing that you told me and the header does not go beyond 600px width.
The thing is, I was aiming to have a header image on top and the menu below it. and having the logo at the top left of the header image. So the header image will be the background of the logo like the image bellow:
But then I thought about having another plan if the design that I am aiming is not possible with enfold theme so I created the following design:
If the first design is possible, it would be amazing! Please advice and thanks in advance.

For first design:
In WordPress Backend go to Enfold->General Layout->Layout->Logo and Main Menu->choose “Top Header”Then go to General Styling->scroll down to Background Image->choose “upload custom image”->upload your image
If you still have any questions, please provide us a link to you website.
Cheers!

Seems like you are uploading the image in small size (300x35px to be exact). Please upload your background image in big size and let us know if that still does not help so we can provide you custom CSS code.

My image is large. It is 1919 × 230px. But I am not sure why the theme shrinks it down.

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?
Cheers!

Please review your website. I have choose to add your background image in fullsize and added a custom CSS code to bottom of Quick CSS field and it does look fine now :)
Cheers!
YigitNovember 30, 2014 at 7:25 am #360239Thanks for that. I was trying to see how this will look. Now I have to try the same for having a full width background and from my first trying it had the same result.
I will open another ticket soon once my boss confirms the full with body layout.
Thanks again.
