I’m in LOVE with this theme, and I’m finding almost everything to be pretty intuitive, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to make my header image fill the width of the page. I’ve been through the forums, and I’ve tried inserting the code that I found in other threads, but it isn’t working.
Can somebody please help me?
June 16, 2015 at 10:11 am #459929Hey Carole!
I had a look at your home page but I’m not sure what you are trying to do there, could you provide us with some screenshots highlighting your intentions please?
Cheers!
RikardJune 16, 2015 at 4:16 pm #460119All I have on the home page right now is a “coming soon” page, so I’m sure that wasn’t very helpful at all—sorry!
I haven’t really built any of my pages yet because I wanted to get the header right first, but here’s a screenshot anyway (I need to start another thread about how to format that ugly pricing table…):
(the image doesn’t show for me, so here’s the link if it doesn’t show for you either: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ezvhmua4ip4il8r/Screenshot%202015-06-16%2009.14.04.png?dl=0)
(I gave you the login info in my first post, if you want to take a look around….)

June 17, 2015 at 5:59 am #460550Hey!
Thanks for the screenshot, you can create the tables with the Table element, I’m still not sure what you want to do with the header though? Could you try to explain it in words instead?
Best regards,

I want the header to go all the way across the screen, instead of only part of the way….-

June 17, 2015 at 3:15 pm #460829Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
#header_main .container { padding: 0; }
Your header image is 1352x449px. Header height should be 449px as well to display it fullsize however it is not possible to display header bigger than 300px without using custom CSS. We can provide you custom CSS code but that would affect shrinking header behaviour of the header. If possible, please edit your image and change its height to 300px
Best regards,
YigitAugust 25, 2015 at 10:15 pm #493233Somehow I missed your reply—sorry for not responding sooner!
I added the code and it did nothing. I made the header image 1200 x 300 and it still isn’t filling the width of the page.
The main problem is that I don’t want to specify an exact size…. I want to upload my image and have it fill the width of the header, regardless of the size of the page. I know it’s possible, because I’ve done it with other themes, but I don’t know how to do it with this one.
Can you help, please?
