Hello!
I am having a strange problem with the Full Width Easy Slider Stopping in Safari. When I first load the page, the slider and text work fine. However after I scroll down the page or click another tab in Safari and come back to the site, the slider has stopped. This would not be so terrible if the text remained, but it does not. You just see a blank image. Also if you try to use the side arrows to move the slider again, they don’t work. The only solution os to re-load the page.
In other browsers, I do not have this issue.

On which version of Safari are you experiencing this? have you checked it on another Mac? i couldn’t reproduce it on my end (OS X 10.9 / Safari 7).
Cheers!

November 5, 2014 at 7:13 pm #346713Hi again! Ok, I had someone test on a Mac with 10.9 + Safari 7, and there is still a problem with the slider. In Safari, It stops after about 15 minutes (according to my tester), or as he says “if I minimize the page, the slider stops working. The halt seems to be time related. If I minimize and quickly restore, the slider is OK, but if I leave it minimized for more than a few seconds, the slider stops. If I don’t minimize, it seems to work OK for a while. If I leave the site up on the screen for a “while”, it stops. I just timed it and it looks like it freezes after 15 minutes. ”
The main issue that I have with the slider stopping is that the text disappears. It’s not such a nice experience to come back to a blank picture. Is there any way to retain the text upon the “freeze”?
November 6, 2014 at 9:59 pm #347407Hi!
It looks fine on Windows 8.1 with latest Safari. Tried waiting around and clicking on links, etc etc, seems solid.

November 8, 2014 at 11:57 am #348114I experienced a similar problem with slider and safari. In my case the problem was that i used file names for the pictures where ä, ö, ü were part of the names (umlaute, no idea umlaute means in english)

thanks @muuclemens.
Sounds strange, but maybe it will help if you remove the umlaut. Could you try it?Regards,
