After editing my website homepage yesterday there seems to be an issue with the easy slider I can’t figure out.
The slider shows up fine in page preview while logged on, but after saving, exiting the site, clearing the cache several times, when going back to viewing the page again, the slider is gone.
I’ve tried deleting & re-adding the element
Any suggestions ?

Perdon, but I can`t access your dashboard because the credentials are wrong.

John TorvikMay 17, 2017 at 7:07 am #794672My apologies John.
I have forwarded the correct ones.May 17, 2017 at 1:57 pm #794885Hi Haycreations,
There is an error in the console, that’s why the slider did not get saved or is not showing

It could be due to plugin conflict.Best regards,
VictoriaMay 18, 2017 at 1:05 am #795171Thanks for the reply.
The error in the console is not showing up on my end.
I’ve also tried disabling all plugins but the slider will still not show – still shows the code, tries to load, but nothing on the front end.
All programs/ plugins are up to date
This was working a few a days ago.
Could you please log into my admin panel & check as I’m at a loss as to how to fix this problem.Sincerely

Those errors are when you’re logged in to the dashboard. Has there been any security change with your hosting provider?
I deactivated Jetpack, you will need to activate it again. I duplicated the fullscreen slider and it does not show. All the markup is there, but in the list of slides the element is no there.I made a test page. The slider appears there and the slider appears on your front page preview. Can you delete the slider and recreate it?
Best regards,
VictoriaMay 19, 2017 at 12:10 am #796242Thanks for the reply.
I have deleted the slide, saved, updated the page & then re-created the slide as requested – but the slider is still not showing.
There have not been any recent security changes with my host provide.
Please advise.Sincerely
MelMay 19, 2017 at 2:24 am #796264Update: I’ve discovered when you add more images to the slider, it becomes visible on the front end – but it does not display the first slide.
The 2 slides that are there (which are the same) were created at the same from scratch using newly uploaded images.
I’ve also discovered that when I add the symbols >> to the SHOP NOW button eg SHOP NOW >>, it prevents the slide from displaying on the front end.
So there appears to be a theme coding problem somewhere?May 19, 2017 at 6:17 am #796336Hi,
Ensure that you`re using the theme and the plugins are in the latest version.

As previously mentioned I am using the latest Enfold update & all plugins are the latest version.Sincerely
MelanieMay 19, 2017 at 9:27 am #796423Hi Melanie,
Yes, could be that html gets broken with >> and that’s why it does not work. The button is a call to action, those arrows are not really necessary.
Glad you got it working for you! :)
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaMay 19, 2017 at 3:08 pm #796607Thanks for your reply Victoria.
This work around may have got the slider to display – but the slider element is still not fully functional because the first slide will not display.
Could it be a theme bug? I’ve been using Enfold for couple of years & have never had this problem.Sincerely
MelanieMay 23, 2017 at 7:38 am #798092Hi,
The first entry seems to be corrupted so we removed it then added it again. It is working now.
