    Hi,

    I’ve got a number of “Full-width easy sliders” with a “fixed” background image. When viewed in the browser it acts as I expect. (With the background image “fixed” in place) however when viewed on mobile devices (android and ios) it appears as a “scrolling” background. Is there any way to change this?

    Hi colinmackinnon!

    That is because you have turned off Responsive Layout. Please try going to Enfold theme > General Settings and turn it on.

    Thanks for the response. I’ve changed to a responsive layout but still having the same issue. Is there anything else you could suggest trying?

    Hey!

    Can you first try updating your theme files to the most recent version so we can make sure it isn’t a previously fixed issue.

    Hi!

    It seems like you are still using version 2.3.2. Please login on ThemeForest and go to Downloads section to download the latest version manually and update the theme via FTP

    Hi Yigit,

    I’ve updated the theme but no change in behaviour.

    I’ve noticed that your demo page has the same issue, at least for android,at http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/single-portfolio-fullscreen-slider-3/

    Perhaps this is just part of the nature of the theme? A quick search suggests that there are jQuery solutions to this problem so that could maybe be something that’s considered in a future update?

    I think that may the case. We had (some months back) talked about various fixes for the fixed backgrounds on ipads and I *thought* Kriesi had added in some changes in one of the recent updates but looking through our internal conversations again it doesn’t look like there was a final fix for it.

    I know the hold up on version 2.5 has been background videos and content so I think this may be something that will get addressed in some part with this update. If not hopefully yes, we’ll add some additional fixes for mobile down the road.
