Full width image starting at very top

Hey guys,

I didn’t find a solution by searching so I got two questions.
If the solution has been discussed in previous threads and I just didnt find them, please just provide link.

1)
In your restaurant demo you got full width parallex schrolling pictures at the very top of the pages
(e.g. home, the image with fork and noodles).
I managed to get a full width pic by using a full width image slider, but the image doesent
start at the very top of the page, it starts below the navigation menu. In your demo, the image is layered underneath
the menu and thus starts at the very top of the window. How do you do that?

2)
It seems that you customized the transparency value of the navigation menu. As long as one does not schroll down
the transparency value is quite high, but becomes lower as you schroll down. How to do that?
