Hi
I am developing a site for a client that has a full screen slider on the front page. It looks good on a computer screen but on mobile it takes up the whole window and cut the image on the sides. As it is a full screen slider this is probably correct, but more than half the image is gone and it is not how I want it to look on mobile. Is it possible to have an image cover the full screen on a large screen and proportionally resize on mobile so that you view the whole image but it does not take up the entire screen. You can see the issue on http;//www.landdesign.no. If you also take a look at http://www.voldenivaldres.no (Squarespace) you can see what I am looking for, the image covers the whole screen on a large screen and it resizes on mobile.
Any idea on how I can resolve this?
Regards
Nina
Hey Nina,
I think the image looks fairly good on mobile screens, it’s unfortunately very difficult to display background images exactly the same on all screen sizes. Maybe you could try to duplicate the slider and then use an image better adapted for smaller screen sizes and then hide/show the correct one using the element options?
Best regards,
Rikard
