hello there,
i have a beautiful layerslider put together. it’s resolution is 4K to accommodate the typical largest screen.
i cannot seem to make it a TRUE RESPONSIVE FULL SCREEN.
i want it to load 100% HEIGHT of the layerslider to 100% HEIGHT of the browser window (with the sides overlapping, and revealing if the browser window is widened).
I WANT TO SEE THE SIZING ACT LIKE THE FULL-SCREEN PHOTO SLIDESHOW ELEMENT.
please help! i’m so close!
i see settings for 100% width … but that’s NOT what i want. i want 100% HEIGHT for an initial home page element. then scroll down for the web site content.
i want it to re-size (down-size from 4K) to 100% height of the layerslider to match 100% height of the browser window.
thanks!

August 11, 2017 at 5:24 am #837282Hi,
I am sorry for the delay to answer it.
I have checked your site and the slider is full screen – check it here: http://prntscr.com/g72fi5

it’s not actually full screen. it’s just the resolution i set it at. you must be viewing with a lower-resolution monitor.
FULL SCREEN will adjust to full screen on any screen. just like your photo slideshows do (you can select them to be a full screen slideshow).
please look into this further.
thanks,
chris
August 12, 2017 at 10:05 pm #838041Hi chris,
Which screen size are you looking at? Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 14, 2017 at 2:46 am #838400it’s not an issue having to do with resolution size of the monitor.
OKAY … HERE IS MY QUESTION.
IS THERE A WAY TO PUT AN ADVANCED LAYERSLIDER INSIDE OF A COLOR SECTION?
as you know, you can set the COLOR SECTION height to 100%. meaning it shrinks or stretches the ENTIRE COLOR SECTION into the 100% height of the screen used.
am i able to do this?
thanks!

Well, you can test it. You can insert the Layer Slider via shortcode and see if that does what you need.
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 14, 2017 at 3:31 pm #838695well … i guess i’ll answer this one for you.
it does not allow you to place a layer slider in a color section.
so we’re back to square one.
IS THERE IS A FULL-SCREEN SETTING FOR THE LAYERSLIDER like there is the color section? a true full-screen stretch or shrink to fit whichever size browser you are using?
thanks,
chris
August 15, 2017 at 3:25 pm #839339Hi Chris,
Have you tried the full size setting?
https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html#slider-builderBest regards,
VictoriaAugust 15, 2017 at 3:36 pm #839348yes … FULL SIZE does the full size of the layer slider resolution. i’ve tried that. not what i’m looking for.
it does not resize the layer slider to fit the height of the browser windows like i am seeking…
just looking for a simple FULL SCREEN setting like on the color section.
seems to be no simple setting here. a shame.
