Hello,
The sliders of my website does’nt working since I’ve made the last update of enfold. All the sliders are made with LayerSlider.
It seems that all the slider have an height of 0px.
Can you help me to repair this ? My client want his website back as soon as possible.
But it’s weird because the slider of the homepage is still working perfectly
ThanksMr GUERRIER
June 5, 2018 at 7:52 am #967021I have the same issue, not sure when is started I’m still running Enfold Version 4.3 which has Layerslider version 6.7.1.
Full screen sliders seem fine, others just display the shortcode.June 5, 2018 at 8:58 pm #967477Hi Underkult,
There is an error in JavaScript. You need to disable jQeury loading in the footer in the Theme options > Performance.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

VictoriaJune 5, 2018 at 8:59 pm #967478Hi cbrssict,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

VictoriaJune 6, 2018 at 9:35 am #967716Hello Victoria,
I disabled the jQuery loading in the footer but it changed nothing.
I will let you acces to the FTP so you can look deeper.
ThanksJune 7, 2018 at 12:49 am #968132Thanks, I don’t have jQuery loading n the footer.
June 9, 2018 at 2:37 pm #970414Hi Underkult,
Looks like there is an error in Layer Slider JavaScript. Did you update the theme via FTP to 4.4? Or by the regular update process?
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 9, 2018 at 2:43 pm #970416Hi cbrssict,
The Layer Slider, for now, has to be added via the Advanced Layout Builder element not by using the shortcode.

VictoriaJune 21, 2018 at 7:58 am #975677Is there a better solution to this issue yet? The advanced layer slider option is too limiting for me long term as it forces a full screen area and pushes sidebars down.
June 21, 2018 at 9:08 pm #975988June 22, 2018 at 11:59 am #976279Hi Victoria,
I updated by the regular way.
RegardsJune 25, 2018 at 3:26 am #977303Hi,
Thanks for the update.
I can still see the same error in the console. Please try to disable the js > avia.js, header.php and footer.php file modifications in the child theme folder temporarily and then check the portfolio page again.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 25, 2018 at 3:38 am #977308Thank you. Update 4.4.1 seems to have resolved the issue for me.
June 25, 2018 at 12:27 pm #977402Hi cbrssict,
Glad you got it working for you! :)

Is your issue resolved or is it still not working?

VictoriaJune 25, 2018 at 2:35 pm #977499Hi Victoria and Ismael,
Sadly, my issue is still here, I tried as you explained to me to remove header, footer and avia files from my theme child but it did nothing… Have you got other solutions ? My client would like to have his website working back as soon as possible.
ThanksJune 29, 2018 at 9:40 am #979230Hello,

IsmaelJuly 3, 2018 at 11:10 am #980493Hi Ismael,
I looked further into the website and the bug comes from a custom function I added to the Layer Slider.
Maybe could you tell me why it was working before and now it broke the website.. I sent you the function in Private Content.
Best Regard
CharlesJuly 4, 2018 at 2:26 am #980845Hi,
It’s looking for the ID attribute or selector “#presentation_slider”. Where did you add that before?
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 4, 2018 at 10:34 am #981051Hi Ismael,
This ID is integrated in the Layer Slider.
It is one of the small icons on the left of the slide.
The users can navigate through the slides with them.Best Regards
CharlesJuly 5, 2018 at 11:34 am #981529Hi,
The slider is already working when I check the portfolio item. How did you fix it? (see private field)
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 9, 2018 at 3:38 pm #983143Hi Ismael,
I didn’t fix it, I just remove my custom function to make it work again. Now it works but I losed the functionality to change slide by scrolling on the mouse.July 11, 2018 at 5:23 am #984022Hi,
Thanks for the update.
This ID is integrated in the Layer Slider.
Where exactly did you integrate the “presentation_slider” ID attribute? I can’t find it in the slider options.
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 11, 2018 at 9:00 am #984080Hi Ismael,
It is located on this url : http://www.candcfishing.fr/wp-admin/admin.php?page=layerslider&action=edit&id=2
I share you the screenshot : https://framapic.org/21X0YYoztbDP/ee6kzcmFac34.png
It is on a layer of the layerslider named “Fils de Pêche”.
It is a small icon on the left of the screen above four others icons.Tell me if you want more explanations.
Best Regards
CharlesJuly 12, 2018 at 2:17 am #984410Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Have you tried to add the script in the “sliderDidLoad” callback field? I think the issue is that the script is immediately executed even before the slider has fully loaded.
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 13, 2018 at 8:26 am #985023Hi Ismael,
I tried to add it in “sliderDidLoad” but it renders the usual blank page.
Best Regards
CharlesJuly 16, 2018 at 2:28 am #985802Hi,
Why are you adding the script to the “HAMECON” slider when the “presentation_slider” layer is in the “Fils de Pêche” slider? You should replace the “$” symbol with “lsjQuery”.
lsjQuery('#presentation_slider').attr('srcset','/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/presentation.png');
Best regards,
Ismael -
