    Hi Guys,

    I want to add a full background image to a blank sidebar. I have been looking for an already existing answer to this question on your forum but I didn’t come with what I’m looking for 100%.

    The image should be vertical and should fit on the sidebar (https://ensohospitality.com/servicios/). I tried to add a new sidebar on the widget menu and add a plain html code calling for a img src, but the image is not displaying within the whole sidebar. I am using this sidebar just to cut the space on the left side, because without it the content looks way too wide. Is there any way I can add a full image to this sidebar?

    Hey Migamo,

    Have you attempted to add it as a background image via css? Please link us to the image you want to use.

    Thanks for providing that. Is the intent for the sidebar to be full screen? As of now it seems to be spanning the whole page.

    Hi,

    No, the sidebar is not intended to be full screen. The image is big enough so that fits more than necessary to span the whole sidebar.

    Please screenshot the area you want to add the background to. I’m viewing the sidebar as full-screen so I want to make sure I target the right area.

    I have not added any additional styles to the sidebar. Actually, there’s nothing on that sidebar, no widgets or anything.

    Have you tried using a grid row element ( Set desired cell size ) and adding a background image to the right sidebar area?
