    Hi there,

    Without having to use code I would like to be able to add an image (that stretches to fit all screens) to only one of my pages which is on a slightly different topic, is there a way of doing this please?

    Thanks :)

    Hey Kali,

    Please use a color section and add the background image in the color section background options. You can then easily add content inside the color section element.

    Hi guys,
    I’m looking for a way to do this for our site. I don’t find a way to make the image “full screen”, just in tiles via Enfold general settings … and also not I don’t get it to run for a single page.
    Thanks for any idea…

    Hi beenee,

    I’m not sure I understand what you are looking to achieve, are you referring to the slider down the page? Please try to explain a bit further what you are looking to do.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Thanks Rikard,
    Instead or despite the full width slider I’d like to have a static background image as in http://www.tagesschau.de/
    I’d like this potentially alternating images as in the slider but that’s not priority one…
    I want to play with a transparent background for the text-boxes as this is a wish of our customer.

    Hi,

    Ok, so you are looking to have a featured image span all the width of the site I’m guessing? Like above the first article on the news site you posted?

    It might be a good idea if you posted a screenshot, just to avoid any confusion. You can upload to a service like dropbox or google drive and then link to it here.

    Hi Rikard,
    this would be roughly the idea: https://ibb.co/cnG2xk
    Not sure if an alternating background is possible.

    Hi Nikko,
    finding the threat is just part of the solution. Victoria referred to a threat that I was already part off. I’m still hoping to get an answer of Rikard (June 22, 2017 at 7:00 pm)
    Hence I’m still hoping to get this solved ,

    Hi,

    Did you try the color section element? After adding the background image, we can set the container background to transparent using css. Please provide a link to the page where you are testing this.

    Thanks Ismael,

    yes I tried the color section element, but (css) changing the container background to transparent would change it at the whole page, right? We just like to have this on the start (or Test-) page (see private content).
    Also I didn’t know the CSS for having a fullscreen stretched image, it was just giving me tiles… but that wasn’t priority one.
    I’ll give you access to the page if you have more ideas…

    best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

    We added a color section and applied a background to it. Set the background properties to “contain” and “top center”. In the Quick CSS field, we added the following css code to create a boxed-layout-like container.

    #custom-section .container {
        background: rgba(255,255,255,.4) !important;
    }

    This is the test page: https://www.plp-group.com/test/

    Ismael Thanks, exactly what we where looking for!!!
    And I also learned how to modify the background with the custom-section idea…
    Brilliant! Good job. Threat can be closed!
