    Hi at Kriesi,
    I would like to reduce the number of files to be transferred via FTP for the theme update. Which directories can I delete locally? For example, I do not need bb press, events calender, gravity forms, wpml, woo commerce. I do not need most languages either. Can I delete the corresponding .po and .mo files in the “lang” directory?

    Hey Sigmund,

    Yes, you can delete those .po files that you do not use. You can delete the other folders too, but if you run into some issues, you’ll need to restore them, so it is good to always have the full backup ready.

    can I delete the “demo_files” folder in /includes/admin too?

    Hi Sigmund,

    Sorry for the late reply. If you are not planning to import any demos manually then you should be able to delete those files as well.
